Across The Pond Profile: Invicta Fighting Championships fighter Lauren Mueller

Being released by the UFC can result in a total MMA reboot and brighter days after the storm. in today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet an empress of the sun ready to roar with the force of a lightning bolt as she sets sail with Invicta FC at Invicta FC 44 on August 27. A professional mixed martial artist since July 2015 and representing San Deigo Combat Club, Lauren Mueller owns a 5-3 record through eight professional bouts comprised of four decisions and one knockout. Mueller appeared on week eight during the debut season of Dana White’s Tuesday Contender Series in 2017. She is also a four-time veteran of the UFC. Mueller has gone to the scorecards four times during her time in the professional MMA ranks, sweeping the scorecards across the board in all four instances. She has also fought for Gladiator Challenge, a regional MMA promotional based in her home state of California.

In her MMA debut at Gladiator Challenge Contenders, she faced Peggy Ross and went on to defeat her via unanimous decision. Mueller defeated Faye Shields via TKO in the first round at Gladiator Challenge MMA Smackdown Then at Gladiator Challenge Freedom Strikes, she defeated Hannah Fitzpatrick via unanimous decision. Mueller defeated Kelly-McGill Velasco via unanimous decision at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series week eight of season one. In her debut outing with the UFC at UFC On Fox 29, she defeated The Ultimate Fighter season 26 alumni Shana Dobson via unanimous decision. The victory earned Mueller the fourth decision win of her professional career. She also picked up her first and only win under the banner of the UFC in the process.

In her promotional debut with Invicta Fighting Championships at Invicta FC 44 on August 27, she will take on Serena DeJesus in a battle at bantamweight. Good luck Lauren!
