Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Chad Johnson

The partnership between Dana White’s Tuesday Contender Series and Legacy Fighting Alliance has blossomed even in uncertain times. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a panther ready to dig in his claws with the force of an 18 wheeler in the co-main event of LFA 115 on September 24 as the promotion heads to Wisconsin for the first time. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2017 and representing Roufusport, Chad Johnson owns a 6-2 record through eight professional bouts, with all six of those victories coming via knockout. Johnson appeared on week three during the fourth season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2020. The bulk of Johnson’s wins during his time in the professional ranks have come within the opening round. He is currently 1-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance. Johnson has yet to reach the scorecards at any point during his career in the professional MMA ranks thus far. All six of Johnson’s wins during his pro career have come inside the distance.

In his MMA debut at KOTC Stone Cold, he defeated Tyree Millsap via TKO in the first round. Johnson also defeated his next two foes via TKO in Victor Jones and Bernard Collins. Then at KOTC in the mix, he knocked out Ed Spooneybarger in round one. Johnson defeated Jordan Seuzfer via TKO in the second round at KOTC awaited return. In his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 77, he defeated Calyn Hull via knockout in the first round. The win earned Johnson the sixth knockout victory of his professional career. He also picked up his first victory under the LFA banner in the process.

On September 24 in the co-main event of LFA 115, Johnson will face the undefeated Jordan Heideman in a battle of finishers in an all-action affair at heavyweight. Good luck Chad!
