Across The Pond Profile: Cage Warriors fighter Adam Cullen

Many of Cage Warrior’s top prospects have some of European MMA’S leading men in their coaching corner. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a roaring Liverpool lion of determined fierceness ready to spring into action and prepare phase two of his rigorous assault on the promotion’s lightweight division at Cage Warriors 131 on December 10. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2020 and representing Next Generation Liverpool under head coach Paul Rimmer, Adam Cullen owns an unbeaten 2-0 professional record, with both of his victories as a pro-MMA fighter coming via submission. Cullen is currently 2-0 under the banner of Cage Warriors, with two first-round finishes under his belt for the promotion. He has not reached the scorecards at any point during his career in the professional ranks so far. Both of Cullen’s wins during his time as a professional mixed martial artist thus far have come within the opening round, in the space of fewer than five minutes, with times of two minutes and 53 seconds and one minute and 42 seconds respectively.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 117 on the opening night of the trilogy strikes back, he faced Oscar Ownsworth and went on to tap him out via rear-naked choke in the first round. Then in his second appearance with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 123, Cullen tapped out Josh Plant in round one via rear-naked choke. The victory earned Cullen the second submission win of his professional career. He also picked up back-to-back wins with Cage Warriors along with his second straight first-round finish in the process.

At Cage Warriors 131 on December 10, he will face off against Mikail Bayram in a tilt at lightweight. Good luck Adam!
