Interview with Mindaugas Mindaugas ahead of his upcoming bout against Ronald Kohn at Fightstar Championship 20

Mindaugas Mikaliak 1-1-0 is a Lithuanian amateur Mixed Martial Artist. An amateur competitor since 2017, representing Wild Fighters Gym. He has competed for Lion Fighting Championship, UCMMA and Fightstar Championship.

I’d like to start this off by thanking you for taking the time to speak to me today Mindaugas. How has training been going in the build-up to your scheduled match-up at Fightstar Championship 20?

“Hi Aaron, I have been very well thanking you. Training has been wonderful. I have recently been very active in preparing for my biggest test yet. A test in which I aim to showcase my skills and desire to become an entertainer in future bouts with FSC. Preparation has been optimal since I am the sole owner of wild fighters gym in forest gate and my days are based around various coaches. such as Daniel Sam (Muay Thai) and James Duncalf (jujitsu) who train up and coming fighters.”

As well as yourself, 48 warriors will take centre stage at the Crystal Palace national sports centre in London for the action-packed twentieth instalment from Fightstar Championship. You’ll be taking on Ronald Kohn, an exceptional middleweight on the undercard for this explosive night. Have you done anything in different in training in regards to your opponent? Without giving too much away what steps have you been taking to make sure you leave Crystal Palace with the W on your record?

“I have adapted my game to grappling in preparation for Ronald, as I am primarily a stand-up fighter. therefore this combination gives me the offence and defence required to get the W.”

Finding a stable organisation to showcase your skills in the cage has done wonders for fighters careers over the years. Many of the warriors set to do battle on the 18th will be making the trip to the cage at Fightstar, not for the first time of their careers. This being your first step into the cage for FSC, do you intend to make Fightstar your new place to go to war in the future?

“Yes, I intend to make Fightstar my new path of destruction and to excel and entertain on this platform, no matter what.”

Other than your inclusion on the night, are there any bouts that you are particularly looking forward to witnessing come December 18th?

“The rest of the bouts look explosive and I am looking forward to watching them all.”

Last but not least do you have a message for the fans that will be in attendance and anybody you’d like to shout out to?

“For my fans, the message would be of many thanks for the support and belief they have had in me. And a shout out to all those from wild fighters gym and the gym factory in forest gate who will be in the arena and watching on tv.”
