Prospects on the rapid rise often need the right promotion and correct setting to foster growth. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a Pacific Whirpool whose whitewater rage has the opposition swimming against the strong current. A professional mixed martial artist since November 2020 and representing Warrior Camp, Michael Cyr owns an undefeated 4-0 record comprised of three submissions and one knockout. Cyr has finished 100 percent of his victories during his time in the professional ranks and has yet to reach the scorecards at any point during his career as a pro-MMA fighter thus far. He is currently 1-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance, with one finish under his belt for the promotion. All four of Cyr’s wins during his pro career have come inside the distance. During his career as a professional mixed martial artist, Cyr has two first-round finishes under his belt to go along with one second-round finish and a single third-round finish. Cyr fought for various regional promotions including CageSport and B2 Fighting Series prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 121 in January 2022.

In his MMA debut at MTF 20 Evanston, he faced Trent Philips and submitted him in the second round. Cyr knocked out Chris Varner in round one at CageSport 61. Then at B2 Fighting Series 139, he tapped out Kameron Jordan in the first round via rear-naked choke to earn his second first-round finish as a professional.

In his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 121, he submitted Alden Coria via rear-naked choke in the third round. The victory earned Cyr the third submission win of his professional career. He also picked up victory number one under the LFA banner in the process along with his fourth win in a row to begin his pro career. At 4-0 with a finish rate of 100 percent, Cyr is one whirlpool that knows how to create a hydro dam of intense flooding pressure!
