Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Elmar Umarov

Legacy Fighting Alliance continues to outpace the competition by delivering on the action all the time mantra. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a grizzly of the long winter icing over the opposition with his no surrender approach in the cage. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2017 and representing St Charles MMA, Elmar Umarov owns a 4-1 record through five professional bouts comprised of three submissions and one knockout. Umarov has finished 100 percent of his victories over the course of his journey thus far as a pro-MMA fighter. He is currently 2-1 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance, with two finishes under his belt for the promotion. All four of Umarov’s finishes during his pro career have come inside the distance, with three first-round finishes to his name. He has yet to reach the scorecards at any point during his time in the professional ranks so far.

In his MMA debut at Front Street Fights 13, he faced Abraham Campos and went on to tap him out via armbar in the first round. Umarov also submitted Carl Jefferson in round three at Fight Hard MMA. Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 101, he defeated Cody King via TKO in the first round to pick up his first knockout victory as a professional along with his first win under the LFA banner.

For his third outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 122, Umarov tapped out Turner Williams via rear-naked choke. The win earned Umarov the third submission victory of his professional career. He also picked up victory number two under the LFA banner in the process. With claws as sharp as a razor blade and a perfect finishing rate, Umarov is one bear that any opponent does not want on their back in the dead of night!
