Jack Mcloughlin 2-0-0 is an English amateur Mixed Martial Artist currently competing in the flyweight division. An amateur competitor since 2021, representing ASW Manchester. He has competed for Anarchy Fight Series, Caged Steel and has a scheduled bout for Battle Arena.

I’d like to start this off by thanking you for taking the time to speak to me today Jack and also to congratulate you on your recent fight announcement with Battle arena. I hope training has been going well over at ASW Manchester?

“Thanks, Aaron, training has been going very well at ASW Manchester and I’m improving every day. I’m in the best shape yet for this fight and am looking forward to putting on a good performance.”

Since founded back in 2014, ASW has produced some of the most stand-out fighters the UK has ever seen. What does it mean to you to be part of this Champion producing battleground?

“I am proud to be a member of ASW Manchester and privileged to have the best coaching anyone could ask for.”

Last we saw you in action was back in December 2021, taking your amateur record to 2-0-0 at Caged Steel 27, In a fan favourite submissive victory via Rear-naked choke over Yordan Nikolov. Looking back on that phenomenal first-round victory, what stood out from your performance most for you?

“What stood out for me the most in my last fight was how calm and relaxed I felt in comparison to my debut.”

Your sights are now set to make it 3 in 3 at the Hangar in Wolverhampton on March 5th. Taking on John-Jitsu Academy’s Ryan Nugent. As well as the exceptional work going into your training camp, have you taken some time to study your opponent leading up to your meeting?

“I haven’t looked too much into my opponent, but have been working hard in all aspects of my training and look to put on another impressive performance.”

Other than your inclusion on the night, are there any matchups in particular that you’re looking forward to witnessing?

“I’m looking forward to seeing all my training partners fight in March as it is a very active month for the team.”

Last but not least do you have a message for the fans that will be in attendance and anybody you’d like to give a shout-out to?

“I’d like to thank everybody at ASW for putting in the time and effort to help me improve and prepare for my upcoming fight, and also want to thank my supporters who are travelling down to watch me.”
