Cage Warriors has long been considered the top of the class as far as European MMA promotions are concerned. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet an anaconda of envious doom and misery ready to rear back his shadowy fangs from the depths of the dark in the promotion’s return to the BEC Arena at Cage Warriors 135 on April 1. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2017 and representing SBG Manchester, Steven Hooper owns a 5-4 record through nine professional bouts comprised of four submissions and one decision. Hooper has fought for several promotions over the course of his career as a pro-MMA fighter thus far including Cage Warriors. He is currently 2-2 under the Cage Warriors banner, with two finishes under his belt for the promotion. Hooper has finished four out of his five victories during his time in the professional ranks. He has gone to the scorecards a single time during his pro career, sweeping them clean across the board in that one and only instance. All four of Hooper’s finishes have come inside the distance.

In his MMA debut at Almighty Fighting Championship 6, he submitted Patryk Krzak via rear-naked choke in the first round. Hooper also tapped out Anthony O’ Connor in round two via triangle choke at Shinobi War 11 the return of Shinobi. He defeated Ellis Hampson via unanimous decision at FCC 21. Then in his second appearance with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 105, Hooper submitted Craig Edwards in the second round via triangle choke. He tapped out Tom Mearns via triangle choke in round two at Cage Warriors 112. The victory earned Hooper the fourth submission win of his professional career. He also picked up back-to-back victories under the Cage Warriors banner in the process.

At Cage Warriors 135 on April 1, he will face Adam Shelley in an affair at lightweight. Good luck Steven!
