Winning a title in Legacy Fighting Alliance and earning a call up to the UFC is all but written in stone once a fighter receives the golden strap. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a raven of the golden lights ready to soar up and away in the main event of LFA 127 on March 25. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2015 and representing California Mixed Martial Arts, Ozzy Diaz owns a 5-1 record through six professional contests comprised of three knockouts and two submissions. Diaz fought for several promotions including Bellator MMA prior to making his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 94 in October 2020. He has finished all five of his victories during his time in the professional ranks thus far. Diaz is currently 1-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance, with one finish under his belt for the promotion. He has yet to reach the scorecards at any point over the course of his career as a pro-MMA fighter so far.

In his MMA debut at KOTC Sanctioned, he faced Leon Klee and went on to tap him out via rear-naked choke in the first round. Diaz defeated Christopher Reyes via TKO in round one in his promotional debut with Bellator MMA at Bellator 214, He submitted Andre Walker in the first round via rear-naked choke in his second and final outing with Bellator MMA at Bellator 228. Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 94, Diaz defeated Logan Woods via TKO in the first round. He knocked out Moses Murrietta in the second round at Lights Out Xtreme Fighting 6. The win earned Diaz the third knockout victory of his professional career.

In the main event of LFA 127 on March 25, he will face Brazil’s Bruno Assis 12-5 for the LFA middleweight title. Good luck Ozzy!
