Across The Pond Profile: Cage Warriors fighter Reece McEwan

Cage Warriors remained the lone beacon of shining hope when the rest of the world descended into the gloomy darkness with a grim chance of ever seeing the light of day again. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a lion of reddened thorns ready to be the newest rose of Scottish MMA for the promotion. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2020 and representing The Griphouse, Reece McEwan owns a 4-1 record through five professional bouts comprised of three submissions and one knockout. McEwan fought for Evolution Of Combat prior to debuting with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 136 in April 2021. He has finished all four of his victories during his time in the professional ranks. McEwan is currently 1-0 under the Cage Warriors banner, with one finish under his belt for the promotion. 100 percent of McEwan’s wins during his career as a pro-MMA fighter have come inside the distance. He has yet to go to the scorecards at any point over the course of his career thus far as a professional mixed martial artist.

In his MMA debut at Evolution Of Combat fight night 6, he submitted Malek Ghrib via arm-triangle choke in the first round. McEwan also tapped out Danny Missin in round one via brabo choke at Evolution Of Combat fight night 7. Then at Evolution Of Combat fight night 8, he defeated Jordan Wheater via TKO to earn his first and only knockout win as a professional.

In his promotional debut with Cage Warriors at  Cage Warriors 136, he submitted Sam Spencer in the third round via rear-naked choke. The victory earned McEwan the third submission win of his professional career. He also picked up victory number one under the Cage Warriors banner in the process. At 4-1 with a perfect finishing average, McEwan is ready to raise the silver saber of victory aloft in this Scottish MMA revolutionary time of rebirth!
