Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Billy Elekana

Making a champion is a lot like constructing a fire that begins as a flickering spark of flame. In today’s episode of Across The Pond. you will be introduced to a phoenix of the glimmering dawn ready to pull back the throttle and reach supersonic speed as he further cements his footing amongst the pack in Legacy Fighting Alliance at 185 pounds. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2021 and representing Uprising MMA, Billy Elekana owns an undefeated 4-0 professional record comprised of two knockouts, one knockout, and one decision. Elekana fought for Fierce FC prior to making his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 120 in December 2021. He has finished three out of his four victories during his time in the professional ranks with all three of those finishes coming inside the distance. Elekana is currently 2-0 under the LFA banner, with one finish under his belt for the promotion. He has reached the scorecards a single time during his career as a pro-MMA fighter so far, sweeping them clean across the board in that instance.

In his MMA debut at Fierce FC 15, he submitted Ravon Baxter via rear-naked choke in the second round. Elekana defeated Starling Simmons via TKO in round one at Fierce FC 16. Then in his debut outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 120, he defeated Jeff Neilsen via unanimous decision.

In his second appearance with LFA at LFA 130 to open up the main card, Elekana defeated Kholman Scribner via TKO in the first round. The win earned Elekana the second knockout victory of his professional career. He also picked up back-to back victories under the LFA banner in the process. At 26 years old with a finishing rate of 75 percent and an unbeaten record as the cherry on top of the sundae, this blasting fireball knows how to reduce the completion to a smoldering pile of smoke and ash!
