Across The Pond Profile: Ryder Newman

There have been numerous alumni of The Ultimate Fighter that have gone on to find success with other promotions after the show has wrapped over the course of 29 seasons across various TV networks. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a thoroughbred of glistening gold ready to buck the opposition off as he rides into Eagle FC. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2019 and representing Xtreme Couture, Ryder Newman holds a 5-1 record through six professional contests comprised of three decisions and two knockouts. Newman appeared on The Ultimate Fighter 29 as a member of Team Alex in 2021. He is currently 1-0 under the Eagle FC banner. Newman has finished two out of his five wins during his time in the professional ranks. He has gone to the scorecards three times over the course of his career as a pro-MMA fighter.

At WFC 104, he faced Isaiah Warner and went on to defeat him in the first round. Newman defeated Chris Crosby via unanimous decision at Global Legion FC 14. Then at Global Legion FC 16 Battle of the Bridges, he defeated Brandon Lopez via unanimous decision. Newman was selected to be a part of The Ultimate Fighter 29 cast at middleweight and was the second selection of team Alex. Following his stint on The Ultimate Fighter, Newman defeated Cole Shafer via TKO in round one at Fierce FC 17 to earn his second knockout win as a professional.

At Eagle FC 46, he defeated Manny Walo via a split decision. The win earned Newman the third decision victory of his professional career. He also picked up victory number one under the Eagle FC banner in the process. This king of the savanna is ready to charge through the gates and make the earth quake and shake as he looks to assert himself as the general commander in line!
