Across The Pond Profile: Invicta Fighting Championships fighter Kristina Williams

The best thing that a fighter can do when their back is against the wall is learn to start over and go back to the basics. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a thoroughbred of thunder ready to electrify the mile-high city at Invicta FC 48 on July 20. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2017 and representing Killer Bees Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts, Kristina Williams holds a 5-3 record through eight professional bouts comprised of four decisions and one knockout. Williams fought for Bellator MMA prior to making her promotional debut with Invicta Fighting Championships at Invicta FC 46 in March 2022. She is currently 1-0 under the Invicta FC banner. Williams has gone to the scorecards four times over the course of her career as a pro-MMA fighter so far. She has finished one out of her five victories during her time in the professional ranks thus far, with that one and only finishes coming inside of two rounds within a period of 10 minutes.

In her MMA debut at Bellator 185, she faced Heather Hardy and went on to defeat her via TKO in the second round. Williams defeated Emily Ducote via a split decision at Bellator 195. Then in her next outing with Bellator MMA at Bellator 210, she defeated Bruna Ellen via unanimous decision to earn her third win under the Bellator MMA banner. At XFC Young Guns 1, Williams defeated Helen Lucero via unanimous decision.

In her debut outing with Invicta Fighting Championships at Invicta FC 46, she defeated Flore Hani via a split decision. The victory earned Williams the fourth decision win of her professional career. She also picked up win number one under the Invicta FC banner in the process. At Invicta FC 48 on July 20, she will face off against Liana Pirosin in a flyweight encounter. Good luck Kristina!
