Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Tyus White

Settling into a new promotion can be a piece of cake if a fighter is raised in an environment enriched by steady success. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet an anaconda of chilled ice whose freeze or be frozen style has sent the shivers down many an opponent’s spine. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2019 and representing Pura Vida MMA and BJJ, Tyus White owns a 5-1 record through six pro bouts comprised of three submissions, one knockout, and one decision. White fought for several regional promotions including Caged Aggression prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 120 in December 2021. He has finished four out of his five victories during his time in the professional ranks, with all four of those finishes coming inside the opening round. White is 1-1 under the LFA banner, with one finish under his belt for the promotion. He has only gone to the scorecards a single time during his pro career, sweeping them clean across the board in that instance.

In his MMA debut at Pure Fighting Championships 14, he defeated Travis Crain via TKO in the first round. White submitted Ernest Walls in round one via arm-triangle choke at Pure Fighting Championships 16. Then at Caged Aggression 31 chain reaction, he tapped out Dan Sokolowski via rear-naked choke in the first round. White defeated Dillon Cox via unanimous decision at DCS 71 Summer kick off night 1 to earn his first and only decision win as a pro.

In his second appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 129, he submitted Jeff Jepsen via brabo choke in the first round. The victory earned White the third submission win of his professional career. He also picked up win number one under the LFA banner in the process. At 24 years young, White is one ground specialist that knows how to make the opposition’s blood run cold!
