A professional mixed martial artist since May 2021 and representing Ruffhouse MMA And Fitness, Nick Talavera holds a 4-1 record over the span of five professional bouts, with all four of his victories as a pro-MMA fighter coming via submission. He is 1-0 under the LFA banner, with one finish under his belt for the promotion. 100 percent of Talavera’s finishes during his time inside the professional ranks have come within the space of three rounds. with times of two minutes and 41 seconds and two minutes and 45 seconds respectively. Talavera has yet to reach the scorecards over the course of his career thus far as a professional MMA fighter, with a finishing rate of 100 percent and a pair of first-round finishes to show for it, with each of those finishes coming inside the distance.

In his MMA debut at Rage in the Cage OKC 80, he faced Brandon Morse and went on to tap him out in round one. He submitted Aric Montoya via rear-naked choke in the third round. Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 138, Talavera submitted Jota Ninomiya via rear-naked choke in the first round. The victory earned Talavera the third submission win of his professional career. He also picked up win number one under the LFA banner in the process along with his third finish in a row to begin his career in the professional MMA ranks so far.
