Across The Pond Profile: Marshal Kemp of Glory MMA and Fitness

It is never too early to soak knowledge in regardless of the age a fighter begins training. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a tamer of the tall trees ready to show opponents the eye of the tiger as Fighting Alliance Championship continues to beat the drum of youth. A professional mixed martial artist since January 2021 and representing Glory MMA and Fitness, Marshal Kemp owns a 5-1 record, with all five of those victories coming via submission. Kemp has spent the majority of his career as a pro-MMA fighter with Fighting Alliance Championship and has finished 100 percent of his wins during his time in the professional ranks. He is 3-1 under the FAC banner, with three finishes under his belt for the promotion. Kemp has yet to reach the scorecards at any point over the course of his career as a professional mixed martial artist so far. All five of Kemp’s finishes during his pro career have come inside of two rounds, with four first-round finishes and a single second-round finish to show for it.

In his MMA debut at MMAX 12 Bad Intentions, he faced Shea Conley and went on to submit him in round one. Kemp tapped out Travis Ford in the first round via rear-naked choke in his promotional debut with Fighting Alliance Championship at FAC 7. Then at FAC 9, he submitted Oscar Ahuatzi in round two via rear-naked choke. Kemp tapped out Henry Lindsay in the first round via rear-naked choke at FAC 10.

At Fight Hard MMA Springfield Fight Night 2, he submitted Cliff Wright via rear-naked choke in round one. The victory earned Kemp the fifth submission win of his professional career. He also maintained his finishing rate of 100 percent in the process, Despite only being 24 years old, Kemp is a prospect with plenty of roaring left to do in his nine lives!
