The promotions you do not expect to contain the slightest of action will often end up providing the most bang for your buck. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a dragon of the boggy marshlands ready to breathe fire and seize light heavyweight gold in the co-main event of GTFP 21 on December 3. A professional mixed martial artist since July 2010 and representing Intensity Martial Arts and Fitness, Steve Langford holds a 2-1 record, with both of his wins as a pro-MMA fighter coming via knockout. Langford is 2-0 under the Golden Ticket Fight Promotions banner, with two finishes under his belt for the promotion. He has finished each of his wins during his time in the professional ranks. Both of Langford’s finishes over the course of his career as a professional mixed martial artist have come within the opening round. He has yet to make it out of the opening round at any point over the course of his pro career thus far. Langford has spent the majority of his professional tenure with Golden Ticket Fight Promotions so far, with two finishes in two appearances with the promotion to show for it along with a finishing rate of 100 percent.
In his promotional debut with Golden Ticket Fight Promotions at GTFP 18, he faced Sam Spokes and went on to knock him out in the first round at four minutes and 49 seconds. Langford defeated Rhys James via TKO in round one in his second outing with the promotion in the co-main event of GTFP 20. The victory earned Langford the second knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up back-to-back wins under the GTFP banner in the process.
For his third appearance with Golden Ticket Fight Promotions in the co-main event of GTFP 21 on December 3, he will square off against Matt Clempna for the light heavyweight title. Good luck Steve!
