Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Jessie Murray

An appearance on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series will often aid other promotions when it comes to scooping up talent like fish in a net. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a rocket of raging anger ready to burst onto the scene in the main event of LFA 145 on October 21. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2014 and representing Strong Style Fight Team, Jessie Murray holds a 9-4 record through 13 bouts comprised of four submissions, one knockout, and four decisions. Murray appeared on week eight during the fifth season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2021. He has finished five out of his nine victories during his time in the professional ranks. Murray has gone to the scorecards four times over the course of his career as a pro-MMA fighter.

In his MMA debut, he submitted Matthew Comer via anaconda choke in round one at Primetime MMA Summer Bash 2014.  Murray also tapped out Jay Jackson in the second round via triangle choke at Ohio Cage Combat season’s beatings 4. Then at Ohio Cage Combat 15 respect, he defeated William Vincent via a split decision. Murray defeated Chad Herrick via TKO in the first round at KOTC Supremacy. He submitted Eddie Larrea via rear-naked choke in round one at KOTC Second Coming. Murray defeated Roger Pratcher via unanimous decision at KOTC Hard Knocks 3. He tapped out Victor Jones in the first round at KOTC Supremacy 2. Murray defeated Tim Hiley via unanimous decision at BCM Promotions fight night 8. He defeated Alton Cunningham via a split decision in the main event of NAFC Summer Slam to  earn the fourth decision victory of his professional career.

On October 21 in the main event of LFA 145, Murray will battle former title challenger Bruno Assis in a light Heavyweight showdown. Good luck Jessie!
