In their 49-event history, fighters from all over the world have made a name for themselves in their expansive efforts to extend the hand of friendship to all in Invicta FC’s message of empowerment. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a panther of envy ready to have the claws come out as the promotion’s newest jewel of Europe. A professional mixed martial artist since April 2022 and representing Holohan Martial Arts under head coach Paddy Holohan, Shauna Bannon holds an undefeated 3-0 record comprised of two knockouts and one decision. Bannon fought for Cage Legacy, a promotion based in her home nation of Ireland prior to debuting with Invicta Fighting Championships at Invicta FC 49 in September 2022. She is 1-0 under the Invicta FC banner and has finished two out of her three victories during her time in the professional ranks, with both of those finishes coming inside the distance, with times of two minutes and 46 seconds and one minute and 17 seconds respectively.  Bannon has been to the scorecards a single time over the course of her career, sweeping it clean across the board in that instance.

In her MMA debut at Cage Legacy 15, she faced Kerry Isom and defeated her via TKO in the second round. Bannon defeated Chi Attoh via TKO in round one at Cage Legacy 16 to pick up her second knockout victory as a professional. Then in her promotional debut with Invicta Fighting Championships in the opening bout of Invicta FC 49, she defeated Nadia Vera via unanimous decision. The win earned Bannon the first decision victory of her professional career. She also picked up her first win under the Invicta FC banner in the process. With numerous European imports already having Invicta FC glory. This emerging strawweight is ready to paint the cage in shades of shamrock green!
