For fighters that are climbing the MMA ladder one rung at a time, making the cast list of The Ultimate Fighter can be the cherry on top of the sundae. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a goliath of the blue ridge ready to make the earth quake as he marches towards the big leagues of the UFC at double time. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2016 and representing Team Oxendine, Chandler Cole owns an 8-3 record through 11 bouts comprised of seven knockouts and one submission. Cole has fought for numerous promotions throughout the course of his journey as a pro-MMA fighter including Cage Fury Fighting Championships and PFL MMA and has finished all eight of his victories during his time in the professional ranks. He also appeared on The Ultimate Fighter season 30 as a member of Team Nunes in 2022. Cole has yet to go to the scorecards at any point during his pro career, with a finishing rate of 100 percent.
In his MMA debut at Valor Fights 36, he faced Robert Bennett and defeated him via TKO in the first round. Cole defeated his next three opponents that included wins over Aaron Bush and Philip McGlothin. Then at Showcase MMA, he defeated Stephen Flanagan via TKO in round one. Cole defeated Derrick Weaver via TKO in the first round at Showcase MMA 16. He knocked out Marcus Maulding in round one at Showcase MMA 17. Cole knocked out Conway Beaudry in the first round at Showcase MMA 20 to earn his seventh knockout win as a professional.
In 2022, he was selected to be a part of The Ultimate Fighter season 30 heavyweight cast and was the fourth selection of team Nunes. With a eight for eight finishing rate and a unforgiving attack, Cole has the big boys all but nailed down into the ground with the power of a single hammer blow!
