Cage Warriors is no stranger to scooping up European talent in big batches. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to an eagle of the Union jack ready to reach topflight speed as he readies for his embarkment as the promotion’s newest member of the nest. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2018 and representing New Wave Academy, Festus Ahorlu owns a 5-1 record through six bouts comprised of three knockouts and two decisions. Ahorlu fought for various promotions including Fightstar Championship and Contenders prior to making his promotional debut with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 140 in June 2022. He has finished three out of his five wins during his time in the professional ranks thus far. Ahorlu has gone to the scorecards twice over the course of his career as a pro-MMA fighter, sweeping them clean across the board in both instances. All three of Ahorlu’s finishes over the course of his career as a professional mixed martial artist have come inside the distance.
In his MMA debut, he faced Will Carins and went on to defeat him via TKO in round one. Ahorlu also defeated Valean Adrian via TKO in round two at MTK MMA 4. Then at Contenders 29, he defeated Quentin Alves via TKO in the second round to earn his third knockout win as a professional. Ahorlu defeated Diego Barbosa via unanimous decision at Contenders 31.
At Fightstar Championship 20, he defeated Mike Ekundayo via unanimous decision. The win earned Ahorlu the second decision victory of his professional career. With thunderous power and the ability to put foes through their paces from the sound of the first bell, Ahorlu is a dark raven of doom and gloom that lurks in the background waiting for an unsuspecting query to slip up and start pecking away limb by limb!
