There have been many stars of tomorrow that are now in the major leagues of the UFC or Bellator MMA thanks to being forged in LFA’S metal. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a blacksmith of the frozen forge ready to deliver a bruising blow to the heated bellows of the welterweight division at LFA 150 on January 13. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2018 and representing Rising Son MMA, Scott Writz owns a 6-2 record through eight bouts comprised of four knockouts and two submissions. Writz has finished all six of his victories over the course of his career in the professional ranks with a finishing rate of 100 percent to show for it. He is 2-1 under the LFA banner with two finishes under his belt in three appearances with the promotion. All of Writz’s wins during his time as a professional MMA fighter have come inside of two rounds. He has yet to go to the scorecards at any point during his pro career so far.

In his MMA debut at Driller Promotions no mercy 8, he faced Starr Roberts jr and went on to knock him out in the first round. Writz defeated Miguel Luis via TKO in the second round at Conviction Fight Promotions Genisis. Then at Caged Aggression 32 no limits night 2, he submitted Clint Anderson in round one via rear-naked choke. Writz tapped out Lirim Rufati in the first round via arm-triangle choke at NAFC Super Brawl. He defeated Derrick Smith via TKO in the first round in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 129. Writz defeated Craig Fruth via TKO in round one in the opening main card bout of LFA 145. The victory earned Writz the fourth knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up back-to-back victories under the LFA banner in the process.

On January 13, 2023, at LFA 150, he will face off against Jalin Fuller in an encounter at welterweight. Good luck Scott!
