All fighters have officially weighed in ahead of OKTAGON 38 which takes place tomorrow evening (Friday 30 December) at the stunning O2 Arena, Prague in the Czech Republic. Around 20,000 fans are expected to pack out the venue in what is on track to be the biggest MMA attendance in Europe this year.

In the main event, Filip Macek (27-16-1) looks to raise OKTAGON MMA gold at the third time of trying when he faces former Combate Americas champion and UFC veteran, Gustavo Lopez (12-6-1), for the interim bantamweight belt. Undefeated lightweight king, Losene Keita (9-0 MMA), stars in a special ‘underground rules’ bout alongside Slovak striking legend, Milan Minči Paleš (42-9-1 kickboxing/muay thai), at 71kg/157lbs in the co-headliner.

The first ever winner of OKTAGON Challenge, Gábor Boráros (19-10-1 MMA), throws down with fan favourite, ‘Baba Jaga’ Václav Mikulášek (8-10 MMA), in a cage boxing contest at 86kg/190lbs and it will be kickboxer vs. boxer when former Glory competitor, Daniel Škvor (5-1), squares off with skilled striker, Jorick Montagnac (3-1), in an important light heavyweight fight.

Elsewhere on the card, Alex Lohore (21-8) drops back down to welterweight after his unsuccessful title challenge to take on the surging Matúš Juráček (9-2) and Czech star, Matěj Peňáz (6-1), wants to bounce back immediately from his first professional loss on the Contender Series against Joel dos Santos (16-7).

Unfortunately, Lee Chadwick is unable to compete at the event due to medical reasons so his bout with Rafael Xavier has been cancelled.
