‘’The Ripper’’ Abdullah Al-Qahtani has his next fight set. The Saudi Arabian KHK Team Bahrain representative is set to begin his 2023 campaign in Serbia, as he meets Denis Jurakic in a Featherweight bout. The fight is set for BRAVE CF 69, which takes place in Belgrade, on February 18.

Al-Qahtani will look to bounce back from the first setback of his professional career, following a five-fight win streak. He lost a split decision to Ilyor Bakhtyar Uulu at BRAVE CF 62, in Kazakhstan, in August.

This followed the two biggest performances of his career, as ‘’The Ripper’’ dominated Yong Soo Jung at BRAVE CF 58, in South Korea, and knocked out Nejc Preloznik, at BRAVE CF 56, the promotion’s first event in Serbia, back in December of 2021.

In 2023, Al-Qahtani will be competing for both BRAVE CF and PFL, becoming the first Arab fighter to be signed simultaneously to two organizations, as BRAVE CF continues to set new records and standards of innovation in developing MMA in the Middle East and providing athletes with global opportunities to showcase their talents.

‘’BRAVE CF continues to unite the sport of MMA and bring innovative and groundbreaking partnerships and business models to the MMA industry. The dual-promotion deal to sign Qahtani will be the first of its kind in developing MMA in the Middle East’’, said BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid.

As the number one fighter in Saudi Arabia, ‘’The Ripper’’ has continued to be an ambassador for the sport in his home country and has become one of the biggest names in Arabian mixed martial arts. His win over Jung has been nominated for Fight of The Year at the first-ever BRAVE CF Arab End of Year awards.
