BRAVE CF introduces Arab Awards with Finish Of The Year candidates

With the first-ever BRAVE Combat Federation Arab awards fast approaching, BRAVE CF is excited to announce the nominees for the first category of this incredible initiative. 2022 has been a year of many astounding victories, but five athletes ensured that their star rises to the top as they qualified for the 2022 BRAVE CF Arab Finish of the Year award.

Four Egyptians have done well to fly their flag, as Mahmoud Sebie, Osama ElSeady, Abdelghani Saber, and Maysara Mohamed have all qualified – Anthony Zeidan, from Lebanon, also made the list.

Olympian wrestler and BRAVE CF debutant Sebie pulled off an incredible ground and pound over Tunisia’s Wajdi Missaoui in the first round of their BRAVE CF 67.

ElSeady got the BRAVE Nation fans talking following his well-timed front right kick to the chin of Mohammed Ali Sellam, instantly putting the Algerian’s lights out in the first minute of the first round of the same event.

Abdelghani Saber – more commonly known for his professional boxing skills – shocked the world when he proved that he is a grappler, too, after he submitted Algeria’s Aymene Souane at BRAVE CF 67 last year.

Maysara Mohamed set the standard for his countryman with his vicious second-round knockout over India’s Mohammed Farhad at BRAVE CF 57 early in 2022.

The only non-Egyptian to make the list is Lebanon’s Anthony Zeidan who stopped Egypt’s Ayman Galal with a perfectly directed right hand in the second round of their BRAVE CF 67 bout late last year.

Since BRAVE CF’s inception, the brand has produced 22 world champions, seven being Arab fighters, highlighting BRAVE CF’s commitment to giving athletes from the MENA region a chance to excel and to create a sustainable life with MMA. With so much talent coming from the region, what better way to honour them than by introducing the 2022 BRAVE CF ARAB MMA Awards?

The awards will include four categories: Arab Fighter of the Year, Finish of the Year, Fight of the Year, and Breakthrough Arab Fighter of the Year.
