Tulum, Mexico: ‘GLORY Rivals 5’, in collaboration with War of Nations, will take place from the beautiful Zamna resort tonight, Saturday, January 28.
In the main event, Mexico’s very own Abraham Vidales (15-2, 12 KO), who is a former GLORY featherweight title challenger, will face the dangerous Tomás Aguirre (27-3, 22 KO), a native of Argentina who has an impressive twenty-two finishes.
In the co-main event, highly ranked GLORY middleweight contender Ivan Galaz (58-10-1, 15 KO) of Chile returns to action and will meet Brazilian KO artist Renan Altamiro (61-11, 46 KO). The bout will mark Galaz’s first appearance inside the GLORY ring since 2019.
Also featured on the card, GLORY debutants Jonas Julio (21-3, 8 KO) and Javier Aparicio (36-2-2, 20 KO) will square-off in a welterweight clash and top-five ranked GLORY featherweight contender Denis Wosik (37-8-1, 9 KO) will go for his third consecutive victory as he takes on GLORY newcomer Marcos Rios (69-3-7, 41 KO).
Additionally, top-ten GLORY lightweight contender Bruno Gazani (67-7-1, 33 KO) will fight Swedish Magnus Andersson (60-46, 14KO) and the Netherlands’ Tessa de Kom (14-1-1) welcomes Argentina’s Giuliana Cosnard (47-2-1, 10 KO) in the opening bout of the evening.
