The Cage Warrior’s unplugged series of events has allowed the contenders and prospects to peacefully co-exist within the competition’s circle. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a cannoneer of Dutch destruction ready to breach the inner workings of the bantamweight division with an explosive shot at Cage Warriors 152 on April 15. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2017 and representing Gracie Barra Netherlands, Daan Dujis owns an 8-1 record through nine fights as a pro-MMA fighter comprised of five submissions, two knockouts, and one decision. Dujis has finished seven out of his eight victories during his time in the professional ranks. He is 1-0 with Cage Warriors with one finish under his belt for the organization with a time of two minutes and 55 seconds. The majority of Dujis wins over the course of his professional tenure have come inside the distance. He has gone to the scorecards a single time during his pro career, sweeping it clean across the board in that instance.
In his MMA debut at Rumble event 19, Dujis defeated Jordy Spitters via unanimous decision. He tapped out Mattia Bartolucci via armbar in the second round. Then at Atlas MMA 2 as real as it gets, Dujis submitted Bartolomeus Januszewski in round one via triangle choke. He defeated Marciano Lantinga via TKO in the second round at World Fight League MMA 2. Dujis defeated Can Baris Topcu via TKO in round one. He defeated Gerardo Fanny via triangle choke in the first round at Rumble event 21. Dujis submitted Omer Cankardesler in round two via rear-naked choke at Fair Fighting Championship 11.
In his promotional debut with Cage Warriors in the co-main event of Cage Warriors 137, he submitted Bogdan Barbu via triangle choke in the first round. The win earned Dujis the fifth submission victory of his professional career in addition to scoring win number one under the Cage Warriors banner in the process.
