The best thing that a fighter can do for themselves when making a return to the cage is to shake off the rust one bout at a time. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a patriot of winter steel ready to march at a moment’s notice as he pens the ultimate comeback chapter after a prolonged MMA absence in the main event of CES MMA 72 on March 18. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2011 and representing Squared BJJ, Fran Collins holds an undefeated 5-0- record comprised of three knockouts, one submission, and a disqualification. Collins has spent the majority of his career as a professional MMA fighter with CES MMA. He is 3-0 with CES MMA with three finishes under his belt for the organization. Collins has finished the majority of his victories during his time in the professional ranks with a finishing rate of 100 percent to show for it. The bulk of Collins’s wins during his pro career have come inside the distance of three rounds.

In his MMA debut, he faced Carlos Rivera and went on to tap him out via triangle choke in the first round. Collins also defeated David Versalles via TKO in round three at CES MMA return to glory. He defeated Lowell Zangri via disqualification in round one at CFX 19 Shamrock Rumble. Then at CES MMA 69, Collins defeated Deran Martinez via TKO in the first round. At CES MMA 70 he defeated Mus’Aib Baiyina via TKO in round three. The victory earned Collins the third knockout win of his professional career in addition to earning win number three under the CES MMA banner in the process.

In the main event of CES MMA 72 on March 18, he will face Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series alumni Tim Caron for the middleweight title. Good luck Fran!
