Across The Pond Profile: PFL MMA fighter Louie Sutherland

With their arm of international pride extended into numerous European countries, it is only natural that the PFL Challenger Series gets its place at the inclusion table in order to ensure that everyone gets an opportunity to stand with their brethren as a united unit. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a stag of thundering temperament ready to storm the organization in hopes of restoring Scottish pride in the hearts of the faithful as their light heavyweight hammer of the highlands. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2021 and representing Fightzone London, Louie Sutherland holds a 5-1 record with all five of his victories as a professional MMA fighter coming via TKO. Sutherland has fought for several promotions over the course of his career including PFL MMA, Almighty FC, and Fightstar Championship. 100 percent of Sutherland’s wins during his time in the professional ranks have come inside the distance. The majority of his victories during his career have come within two rounds.

In his MMA debut at Almighty Fighting Championship 18, he faced Pavel Dalidko and went on to defeat him via TKO in the first round. Sutherland knocked out Atanas Krastanov in round one at Fightstar Championship 20. Then at Ambition Fight Series London, he knocked out Jan Lysak in the first round. At Sparta Fight knights the rise of Sparta Sutherland knocked out Dion Groombridge in round one.

In the opening bout of PFL Challenger Series week three of season two, he defeated Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season three alumni Alton Meeks via TKO in the second round. The victory earned Sutherland the fifth knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up win number one under the PFL MMA banner in the process. With various Challenger Series alumni already having tasted success in the organization, the future of European MMA is about to be cast in an entirely new light!
