Across The Pond Profile: Rachel Martinez of Intercept MMA

The stars of tomorrow are often birthed in Legacy Fighting Alliance with numerous alumni now tasked with flying the flag in the major leagues of the sport. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a cougar of cold intensity ready to pounce as the promotion’s newest lioness at strawweight. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2022 and representing Intercept MMA, Rachel Martinez holds a 1-1 record, with her lone victory coming via technical knockout. Martinez has spent her entire career as a professional MMA fighter with Legacy Fighting Alliance thus far and has one finish under her belt for the organization to show for it with a time of four minutes. She has yet to go the scorecards or make it past the opening round over the course of her career in the professional ranks so far with one first round finish to show for it in addition to a finishing rate of 100 percent. The one and only finish during Martinez’s professional career has come inside the distance. She is 1-1 under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner. Martinez has one finish under her belt in two appearances during her time as a professional mixed martial artist, with that finish coming in the space of a single round.

In her professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the preliminary card of LFA 145, she faced Dimond Long and went on to defeat her via TKO in the first round. The win earned Martinez the first knockout victory of her professional career. She also earned victory number one under the LFA banner in the process. With a durability and unstoppable will, Martinez is ready to rattle the opposition’s cage with a roar felt for miles around long after the cage door is closed shut and the hunting begins out in the open!
