Across The Pond Profile: Invicta Fighting Championships fighter Sayruy Canon

Invicta Fighting Championships has been the shining light for some of the globe’s leading ladies from around the world from Brazil to the United Kingdom. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a jaguar of liberty ready to leap the line at Strawweight and usher in a South American resurgence for the promotion. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2016 and representing Ultimate Kombat Training Center, Sayruy Canon holds an undefeated 3-0 record comprised of two decisions and one knockout. Canon is 1-0 under the Invicta Fighting Championships banner. The one and only finish during Canon’s career as a professional MMA fighter has come inside the first round with a time of three minutes and 52 seconds. She has gone to the scorecards twice over the course of her pro career, sweeping them clean across the board in both instances with each win ending in a unanimous verdict. Canon has a single finish under her belt through three professional appearances thus far, with one first-round win to show for it.

In her MMA debut at Empire Sports Marketing Colombia versus the world, she defeated Ivonne Ocampo via technical knockout in the first round to secure her first decision win as a professional. Canon also defeated Elizabeth Avila via unanimous decision at AFL 5.

Then in her promotional debut with Invicta Fighting Championship at Invicta FC 52, she defeated Amanda Macioce via unanimous decision. The win earned Canon the second decision victory of her professional career. She also picked up her first win under the Invicta FC banner in addition to extending her unbeaten streak to three to begin her pro career in the process along with back-to back decision victories. With numerous South American ladies having roamed champion’s hall, Canon has skyrocketing stock with an increasable value to match up when the pen hits paper!
