Every once in a while, the hometown hero can be the author of their own MMA redemption tale. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a chieftain of honorable violence ready to season LFA’S light heavyweight division with Buffalo spice. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2016 and representing JT’S Mixed Martial Arts, Joe Taylor owns an undefeated 5-0 record comprised of four decisions and one knockout. Taylor fought for King Of the Cage prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 155 in March 2023. The majority of Taylor’s victories over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter have been via a unanimous verdict, sweeping them clean across the board on each occasion. He is 1-0 under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner. Taylor has a single finish under his belt through five appearances thus far as a professional mixed martial artist. The one and only finish during Taylor’s pro career has come in the fourth round.

In his MMA debut at KOTC National Dispute, he faced Savalas Williams and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Taylor also defeated Alejandro Santiago via unanimous decision at KOTC Raw Deal. Then at KOTC Prevail, he defeated Daniel Rosales via unanimous decision. Taylor knocked out George Clynes in the fourth round to secure his first and only knockout win as a professional so far.

In his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the main card of LFA 155, he defeated Ben Parrish via unanimous decision. The victory earned Taylor the fourth decision win of his professional career in addition to extending his unbeaten streak to five to begin his career. Taylor also picked up victory number one under the LFA banner in the process. At 39 years young, Taylor is a solider who can operate even when the best laid plans go awry!
