Across The Pond Profile: Invicta Fighting Championships fighter Ky Bennett

Whenever an organization ventures into new territory in terms of regional marketing, they tend to tap into the local talents as often as possible to allow representatives on its home turf. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a huntress of icy aim ready to hit the target dead center as the latest member of Invicta Fighting Championships flyweight division. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2017 and representing Elevation Fight Team, Ky Bennett holds a 2-2 record in four contests comprised of one submission and one decision. Bennett has fought for several promotions over the course of her career as a professional MMA fighter including Legacy Fighting Alliance and Bellator MMA. The one and only finish during her time in the professional ranks has come inside the second round with a time of three minutes and 37 seconds. Bennett has gone to the scorecards a single time during her pro career, sweeping it cleanly across the board on that occasion. Bennett has one finish under her belt through four professional appearances thus far. She has finished one out of her two wins during her time as a professional mixed martial artist so far with a single second-round finish to show for it.

In her second appearance with Bellator MMA at Bellator 195, she faced Morgan Solis and went on to tap her out in the second round via keylock to earn her first submission win as a professional. Then in her lone outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the main card of LFA 109, Bennett defeated Gerricia Trias via unanimous decision. The victory earned Bennett the first decision win of her professional career. Having tested her metal in many of the sports leading organizations, Bennett has a serpentine grip that can frequently cause opponents to freeze in a fixed position!
