Across The Pond Profile: Bellator MMA fighter Blake Smith

A professional mixed martial artist since November 2016 and representing DEFWAR, Blake Smith owns a 7–3 record through 10 contests comprised of three submissions, two knockouts and two decisions. Smith has fought for several promotions over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter including Cage Fury Fighting Championships. He has finished five out of his seven victories during his time in the professional ranks. The majority of Smith’s wins during his pro career have been inside the distance.

In his MMA debut at RFC 38 Undisputed, he submitted Daniel Matos via rear-naked choke in the third round. Smith defeated Matthew Ferraiolo via technical knockout in round one at RFC 39 High Stakes. Then at RFC 41 War, he defeated Ty McLeod via TKO in the third round. He tapped out Shawn Fields in round three at Combat Quest 5 who runs the west. Smith defeated Carlos Alexandre de Costa via a split decision at Combat Quest 6 get the strap. He submitted Zulkarnaiyn Kamchybekov in the third round in his promotional debut with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 100.

In the main event of CFFC 106, Smith defeated Paris Artis via unanimous decision. The victory earned Smith the second decision win of his professional career. With double digit experience and a explosive arsenal in terms of technique, Smith’s attention to detail and the ability to change modes at the turning of the moment make him a devious devil to opponents who double deal and not pay the piper his expected dues!
