Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Issac Thomson

In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a boomerang of golden shine ready to hurl heavy heat as the promotion’s latest Australian nugget. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2020 and representing Team Alpha Male, Issac Thomson owns a 4-1 record through five pro appearances comprised of three knockouts and one decision. Thomson has fought for several promotions over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter including Front Street Fights and Legacy Fighting Alliance. He has finished three out of his four victories during his time in the professional ranks. Thomson has gone to the scorecards a single time during his career sweeping them clean across the board on that occasion over a period of three rounds and a 15 minute duration. The majority of Thomson’s wins during his career as a professional mixed martial artist have been inside the distance with two first-round finishes to show for it in addition to a single second-round finish. He is 1-1 under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner. Thomson debuted with LFA at LFA 119 in December 2021.

In his MMA debut at Ikon Fighting Federation 4, he defeated Luis Gerardo Garcia Lucero via technical knockout in the second round. Thomson knocked out Jamie Garcia in round one at Empire Fighting Championship 11. Then on the preliminary card of LFA 150, he defeated Gary Konkol via unanimous decision to earn his first and only decision win as a professional so far.

At Front Street Fights 25, he defeated Ben Hollier in the first round. The victory earned Thomson the third knockout win of his professional career. At 20 years old, Thomson is a prospect whose youthful spirit remains true even when the cards do not fall in his favor!
