The mixed martial arts world is a community of brotherhood and sisterhood where everyone gets a place at the center of the combat table regardless of abilities. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a leaping lynx of the snowbank ready to lunge at unsuspecting prey in Unified MMA. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2022 and representing Canadian Mixed Martial Arts Centre Lethbridge, Shannon Clark owns an unbeaten 2-0 record with both of her victories as a professional MMA fighter coming via technical knockout. Clark has a finishing rate of 100 percent and is 1-0 under the Unified MMA banner with one finish under her belt for the organization. She has finished each of her wins during her time in the professional ranks. Clark has yet to go to the scorecards at any point over the course of her pro career thus far. Both of her victories have been inside the distance. Clark has one third-round finish in addition to a single second-round finish in two appearances as a professional so far. Clark has also fought for Rumble in the Cage in addition to Unified MMA during her career as a professional mixed martial artist. Clark has fought exclusively in her home nation of Canada,
In her MMA debut at Rumble in the Cage 63, she faced Jackie MacLean and went on to defeat her via technical knockout in the third round to pick up her first knockout win as a professional. Then in her promotional debut with Unified MMA at Unified MMA 49, Clark defeated Jolinne Maisonnueve via TKO in round two. The win earned Clark the second knockout victory of her professional career. She also picked up victory number one under the Unified MMA banner in the process. With hands that hit like avalanches, Clark can certainly bury the competition as the seasons change!
