Cage Warrior’s Influence in Italy has only increased the gladiator’s thirst for combat ever more ever since the promotion made its debut in the Land of the Boot in October 2022. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a viper of vengeance whose tight squeeze has Bantamweights in a suffocating vice as the organization’s latest Italian serpent. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2016 and representing Team Superbia, Emanuele Zaccaria owns a 5-1 record in six bouts comprised of four submissions and one knockout. Zaccaria has finished 100 percent of his victories over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter. He is 1-0 under the Cage Warriors banner with a single finish under his belt for the organization with a time of one minute and four seconds. All five of Zaccaria’s wins during his time in the professional ranks have been inside the distance. He has a 100 finishing rate through six professional appearances thus far.

In his MMA debut, he submitted Lorenzo De Nigris in round one via triangle choke. Zaccaria also tapped out Stefano Tiengo Monteriso via triangle choke in the first round at The Golden Cage. Then at TGC 2, he submitted Petru Biclea in round one via armbar. Zaccaria defeated Enzo Maria Iezzi via technical knockout in the first round to earn his first and only knockout win as a professional so far.

In his promotional debut with Cage Warriors on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 144, he tapped out Bogdan Barbu in the first round via heel hook. The victory earned Zaccaria the fourth submission win of his professional career. He also picked up win number one under the Cage Warriors banner in the process. Zaccaria is a prospect whose ground game has plenty of venomous sting, so caution is highly advised!
