UFC Charlotte: Rozenstruik vs Almeida Weigh In Results

The UFC is back in action and the fighters have officially weighed in. Jailton Almeida and Jairzinho Rozenstruik will headline the card on Saturday in what is sure to be a heavyweight brawl. Rozenstruik tipped the scales at a whopping 265 pounds, while his opponent Almeida came in at a lighter 231.

Co-Main Event: Smith vs. Walker

In the co-main event, Anthony Smith will face off against Johnny Walker. Both fighters weighed in at 205.5 pounds, making the bout official. Smith, a former light heavyweight title challenger, is looking to climb his way back to the top, while Walker is hoping to make a statement and jump into title contention.

Fight Cancellation: Rodriguez vs. Levy

During the weigh-ins, one prelim fight was canceled. Pete Rodriguez failed to make it to the scale for his scheduled lightweight bout against Natan Levy due to weight management issues. Rodriguez was making his first cut to lightweight, and unfortunately, had to pull out of the fight for the second time in two weeks.

Battle and Rodriguez Miss Weight

In addition, two other fighters missed weight for their bouts on their first attempts. Bryan Battle weighed in at 173 pounds for his welterweight bout against Gabe Green, who weighed in at 170.5. Battle will be fined a percentage of his purse, but the fight will go on. Meanwhile, Daniel Rodriguez came in at 171.5 for his welterweight fight against Ian Machado Garry. However, he made weight on his second attempt.
