Jared Cannonier is the number 3 Middleweight in the world and recently came off a very impressive and historic performance win against perennial contender Marvin Verrorti at UFC Fight Vegas 75.
Jared Cannonier vs Marvin Verrorti had a number one title contender fight written all over after Marvin was coming off an impressive win at UFC London against Roman Dolidze.
Jared won in impressive fashion after getting rocked and faced early adversity in the first round to come back and win Round 2 which was easily a 10-8 round and dominated the fight from that point onwards.
What’s next for Jared Cannonier?
With current middleweight champion Israel Adesanya beating Cannoier this time last year, in truth be told an
easy fight for the champion and with Izzy calling for a fresh opponent in Daniel Du Plesiss who’s set to fight Rober Whittaker next month on international fight week.
If Dricus du Plessis wins, Cannonier’s chance of getting another shot at the Style bender may have to wait. However in the meantime and in between time Cannoirer can stay busy by fighting and rematching Whitterar if he does lose to Dricus du Plessis.
Jared Cannonier could fight down in the rankings against Swedish middleweight Jack Hermansson who is 1oth ranked in the UFC.
Everything is what if’s for Jared, the picture will open a lot more after Du Plessis v Robert Whittaker next month and would be able to see what the king’s move is too.
However no matter what happens the Killa Gorilla has shown that he is next for a title shot at the LAST STYLE BENDER.
