Victories can taste all the sweeter when fighters leave the comfort of their home base in order to chase their MMA dreams to train on the other side of the world in the States so they can sharpen their overall skills and mold themselves into the complete package when all is said and done. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to an eagle of the shipyards ready to spread his youthful wings and soar in the sky at flyweight for Cage Warriors at 22 years old as part of the promotion’s Fight Academy in California. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2023 and representing Next Generation Liverpool, Francis Breen owns a 1-0 record with his only win as a professional MMA fighter coming via decision. Breen has spent his entire tenure as a professional mixed martial artist with Cage Warriors so far. He is 1-0 under the Cage Warriors banner. Breen has gone to the scorecards a single time during his time in the professional ranks sweeping it clean across the board in that one and only instance over a period of three rounds and a duration of 15 minutes. Breen is one of several European young guns in the Fight Academy alongside fellow flyweight Connor Wilson and lightweight Teddy Stringer.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Cage Warriors on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 155, he faced Enrique Montalvo and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. The victory earned Breen the first decision win of his professional career in addition to securing win number one under the Cage Warriors banner in the process. Although Breen may just be learning the ropes when it comes to the pro scene, his eye for learning from those that came before him might ultimately usher in a whole new chapter in Liverpool mania!
