Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Jayde Sheeley

Legacy Fighting Alliance is known for being an equal-opportunity promotion when it comes to letting both sexes compete on an equal footing in the spirit of competition. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a tigress of strengthened fortitude whose menacing roar has flyweights scrambling for a safe shelter with her entrance onto the professional scene. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2023 and representing Ohio Martial Arts and Fitness under head coach Scott Sheeley, Jayde Sheeley holds a 1-1 record with her lone victory coming via submission. Sheeley has spent her entire career as a professional MMA fighter with Legacy Fighting Alliance thus far. The one and only finish during her time in the professional ranks has come inside the first round with a time of one minute and 46 seconds. Sheeley is 1-1 under the LFA banner with a single finish under her belt in two appearances with the organization. She has a 100 percent finish rate and has yet to reach the scorecards at any point over the course of her career as a professional mixed martial artist so far. Sheeley has finished her only win through two appearances as a professional with one first-round finish to show for it in the space of fewer than five minutes. Sheeley is one of many female prospects to debut with LFA this year including fellow flyweight Nerja Repp.

In her second appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the preliminary card of LFA 160 in the promotion’s maiden voyage to the Bluegrass state, she faced Diamond Long and went on to tap her out in the first round via armbar. The win earned Sheeley the first submission victory of her professional career in addition to securing victory number one under the LFA banner in the process. When Sheeley shows her stripes, the hunt is a race against the clock to show whose claws are sharper for survival!
