Amin Ayoub is back! Former BRAVE CF champion returns for France debut in Nantes

”Fierceness” will be making his return to the global stage when he fights in his hometown of Nantes at BRAVE CF 74, on September 7th.

Former world champion Amin Ayoub is back and ready to reclaim this throne. Previously a Lightweight titleholder, it has been announced that he will return to action under the BRAVE Combat Federation banner ahead of the organisation’s debut show in France, held in association with HEXAGONE MMA on September 7. Ayoub will have a prominent position in the show, which is a homecoming for “Fierceness”, who was born and raised in Nantes.

Amin Ayoub joined the most global MMA promotion in the world in 2019, and immediately impressed with a third-round submission over Djamil Chan, at BRAVE CF 31, in South Africa. He was then scheduled to face Lightweight champion Cleiton ‘’Predator’’ at BRAVE CF 44.

In one of the brightest performances of his career, Amin shocked the world by landing a picture-perfect right hook and brutally knocking out Cleiton to become only the second Frenchman to capture a BRAVE CF world title.

Amin was supposed to face Ahmed Amir at BRAVE CF 50, but his challenger dropped out due to injury – instead, Ayoub beat dangerous wrestler Mashrabjon Ruziboev in a non-title contest.

The Frenchman eventually lost the title to Ahmed Amir at BRAVE CF 54 via unanimous decision in a bout that was nominated for 2021 BRAVE CF Fight of The Year.

He has since rebounded on the local circuit with several big victories and will now look to start the climb back up to the top of the Lightweight division, currently headed by Abdisalam Kubanychbek, from Kyrgyzstan. Curiously enough, Ayoub and Kubanychbek were scheduled to face each other at BRAVE CF 57 but the bout never came to fruition as Amin fell ill in the weeks leading up to the fight.

BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid has hailed the re-signing of Amin Ayoub as he said the French Lightweight is a BRAVE CF legend and is excited to see his return in Ayoub’s hometown

”Amin Ayoub is a big part of the legacy of BRAVE CF. From a talented prospect and fighting around the world to a world champion, he will now bring the world to his native Nantes, for a historic night in the global MMA industry, with BRAVE CF’s inaugural event in France. It’s going to be a night to remember”

BRAVE CF 74 takes place in association with HEXAGONE MMA, one of the leading organisations in Europe, and takes place at the H Arena, one of the biggest sporting centers in France.
