Two events into their European slate, PFL MMA has established well-oiled machines on either side of the Atlantic. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a youthful firebomb ready to pen the newest chapter of the European young gun movement. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2021 and representing Manchester Top Team, Lewis McGrillen owns an undefeated 8-0 record with all eight of his wins coming via knockout. He has fought for various promotions during his time in the professional ranks including Full Contact Contender, Vida Fight Championships and Celtic Gladiator. McGrillen has never reached the scorecards at any point over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter thus far. He is 2-0 under the PFL MMA banner with two finishes in two appearances with the organization. The majority of McGrillen’s finishes during his pro career have been inside of two rounds.
In his MMA debut at MMA Uncaged FC, he faced Marcus Hammond and went on to knock him out in round one. McGrillen also knocked out his next three opponents that included wins over Marcondes Bastos at Vida Fight Championships 2 and Sheldon Ryan at Full Contact Contender 29 respectively. Then at Vida Fight Championships 3, he defeated Martin Fouda via technical knockout in the first round. McGrillen defeated Romero Miranda Rosario dos reyes via technical knockout in round two at Vida Fight Championships 5.
In his promotional debut with PFL MMA at PFL Newcastle, he knocked out Saih Kulcan in the first round. McGrillen knocked out Amrali Saidoshurov in round two at PFL Berlin. The win earned McGrillen the seventh knockout victory of his professional career in addition to back-to-back wins under the PFL MMA banner in the process along with extending his unbeaten streak to seven to begin his career. McGrillen is a cannon that holds plenty of wrecking firepower when the power hits the primer!
