The bantamweight title contenders competing for the 135lb belt at EFC 105 tomorrow night had to be separated at the weigh-ins at the EFC Performance Institute in Johannesburg, South Africa today, as 22 athletes hit the scale to rubber-stamp their impending hostilities. In an amazing show of prepared professionalism, South African MMA legend Nkazimulo ‘King Shaka’ Zulu made weight successfully after accepting the bout as a late replacement athlete just four days prior. His opponent Musa ‘Bad News’ Sethwape refused to back down from an intense stare down after he too moved the needle to make the Championship bout official. Several other fighters got their first look at their foes on the scale, including the massive welterweights, Peace ‘X’ Nguphane and Mark ‘Batolo Bacharge’ Kamba who immediately engaged in a war of words, promising a swift ending to each other when the Hex door shuts. Several other fight of the night candidates stand-out on a stacked card, but all eyes are on the title contenders tomorrow night when Sethwape and Zulu will clash for the belt.
