Zhang Weili is the current UFC strawweight champion of the world on her second reign. A powerhouse with incredible skills, Weili has surpassed expectations. A phenom coming into the UFC with a winning streak of 16 fights in a row. In the UFC she won five in a row beating, Taylor, Aguilar, Torres, and then Jedrzejczyk.
Zhang Weili’s winning streak is a milestone. I’m pretty sure it was 21 wins in a row. Her only clutch is Rose Namajunas, something she regrets.
Right now on her 2nd reign as champion Weili can put all that aside. She is the greatest.
Amanda Lemos is a powerhouse who began her UFC career at 135lbs. Undersized at 5’4 Lemos found herself a better fit at 115 where she has done some severe damage.
I think this is going to be a really tough test for Weili, I’m actually picking Lemos to win. Zhang Weili vs Amanda Lemos will be a war between the two best right now.
