Across The Pond Profile: ONE Championship fighter Ben Tynan

The travel gene and MMA may be the blueprint for prospects that are searching for a breakthrough chance at shifting their careers to the next gear. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a Northern polar tower ready to give ONE Championship a Canadian chill. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2022 and representing Elevation Fight Team, Ben Tynan holds an undefeated 4-0 record comprised of three knockouts and one submission. He has fought for several promotions during his time in the professional ranks including Legacy Fighting Alliance. All four of his victories during his pro career have been inside the distance. Tynan has never gone to the scorecards at any point over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter with a 100 percent finish rate to show for it. He has three first-round finishes and a single second-round finish in four professional appearances so far. The majority of Tynan’s wins during his career have been within the opening round.

In his MMA debut, he faced Cody Sheronick and went on to defeat him via TKO in round one. Tynan tapped out Trevor Wallace in the first round via arm-triangle choke in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 133 to earn his first and only submission win as a professional. Then at LFA 141, he defeated Lance Lee via technical knockout in round one.

In his third appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the main card of LFA 156, Tynan defeated Will Johnson via TKO in the second round. The victory earned Tynan the third knockout win of his professional career in addition to his third first-round finish. He also extended his unbeaten streak to four to begin his career in the process. Tynan protects his home den with cold fury, so be careful on approach!
