Across The Pond profile PFL MMA fighter Lizzy Gevers

The bright lights of the unknown can cloud even the hungriest of fighters when they are debuting in a fresh organization with limited experience in terms of cage time. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a cannon of explosive impact ready to douse the opposition in Dutch firelight at PFL Paris on September 30 in the promotion’s third stop on their European tour. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2021 and representing Gracie Barra Oss, Lizzy Gevers holds a 3-1 record in four contests comprised of two submissions and one decision. Gevers has fought for several promotions over the course of her career as a professional MMA fighter including Strikers Cage Championship, German MMA Championship, and PFL MMA. She has finished two out of her three overall victories during her time in the professional ranks. Gevers has gone through to the scorecards once during her pro career sweeping them clean across the board on that occasion. Both of Gevers’s finishes during her career as a professional mixed martial artist have been inside the distance. She has two tapouts under her belt in her first four appearances thus far along with a scorecard sweep.

In her MMA debut at the German MMA Championship, she faced Larissa Niggemann and went on to defeat her via unanimous decision to earn her first and only decision win as a professional. Gevers submitted Silva Juaneda at Strikers Cage Championship 10 Rise Of Champions. Then at SCC 12, she tapped out Beata Juhasz via armbar in the second round. The victory earned Gevers the second submission win of her professional career in addition to her second finish. She also picked up professional win number three in the process. A thunderous knell will sound like a warning to those adventurous souls that end up caught in the crossfire with this fire bomb!
