Prospects that have not received a proper introduction by the MMA big leagues will often fly under the radar in order to build their case file in regional organizations before getting the proper dues. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a Bluegrass barnstormer ready to rake his claws into the heavyweight division and turn Fury Fighting Championship into a big blue nation. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2021 and representing E Town Beatdown, Austin Green holds an undefeated 5-0 record comprised of three knockouts, one submission, and one decision. Green has fought for several promotions over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter including B2 Fighting Series, National Fighting Championship, and Fury Fighting Championship. The majority of Green’s victories during his time in the professional ranks have been inside the distance. He has gone to the scorecards once in his pro career sweeping them clean across the board in that instance. Green is 1-0 under the Fury Fighting Championship banner.
In his MMA debut at B2 Fighting Series 135, he faced Christopher Miles and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in the first round. Green knocked out Cody Mixell in round one at B2 Fighting Series 141. Then at B2 Fighting Series 160, he knocked out Antwan Philips in the first round to secure his third knockout win as a professional. Green submitted Cameron Graham via triangle choke in round three at National Fighting Championship 149 to earn his first and only submission victory as a professional.
In his promotional debut with Fury Fighting Championship at Fury FC 72, he defeated Mario Moore via unanimous decision. The win earned Green the first decision victory of his professional career in addition to picking up his first victory under the Fury Fighting Championship banner. He also extended his unbeaten streak to five to begin his career in the process. Green is a prospect that shows victory is priceless when the investment pays off!
