Across The Pond Profile: Cage Warriors fighter Dec Dean

Learning to start over and hitting the reset button can provide much more than personal clarity on the outside and healing a fighter’s wounded pride on the inside. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a shotgun serpent ready to send lightweights scattering like shell casings as Cage Warriors returns to Manchester at the end of the month from the BEC Arena in a card loaded with the elite of the elite and locals looking to raise the roof. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2022 and representing 12 Gauge MMA, Dec Dean owns a 1-1-1 record comprised of one submission in addition to a no contest. He has fought for Full Contact Contender and Cage Warriors. The one and only finish during his time in the professional ranks has come inside the opening round. Dean has never gone through to the scorecards at any point over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter so far with a 100 percent finish rate to show for it. He has a single first round finish under his belt in three appearances as a professional mixed martial artist thus far. Dean fought for Full Contact Contender prior to debuting with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 152 in April 2023. 100 percent of his professional appearances have lasted fewer than five minutes or a single round.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Full Contact Contender at FCC 30, he faced Richard Lunt and went on to submit him via rear-naked choke in the first round. The win earned Dean the first submission victory of his professional career along with his lone finish. When Dean comes for a scrap, he comes fully loaded with a complete chamber of fire bullets at the ready and a mission where the prospective prey gets eliminated once the assignment is at an end!
