Across The Pond Profile: Robbie Ring of Ring Combat Sports

There is no reward without taking acceptable risks if a prospect wants to achieve their professional potential on bigger stages when they appear on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series for the first time or as a return combatant. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a Blue Ridge berserker whose wrecking cage approach has the potential to leave prospective opposition hanging on by a knife’s edge by the bout’s conclusion. A professional mixed martial artist since January 2021 and representing Ring Combat Sports, Robbie Ring holds a 6-1 record in seven contests comprised of five knockouts and one submission. He appeared on week three as part of season seven of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2023 and has fought for several organizations during his time in the professional ranks including Aries Fight Series and Valor Fighting Challenge. Ring has never reached the scorecards at any point over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter so far. All six of his victories have been inside the distance with a 100 percent finish rate to show for it.

In his MMA debut at Showcase MMA 16, he knocked out William Wilson in the first round. Ring also knocked out Andru Davis Henry in round one at Valor Fighting Challenge 83. Then at Valor Fighting Challenge 87, he defeated Matt Mckinney via technical knockout in the first round. Ring tapped out Dusty Little in round one via brabo choke at Aries Fight Series 5 to secure his first and only submission win as a professional. He knocked out Jacob Killburn in the second round at Aries Fight Series Amp’d.

At Aries Fight Series 16, Ring defeated Josh Delgadillo via technical knockout in round one. The victory earned Ring the fifth knockout win of his professional career. Ring always answers the phone when looking for a fresh shave!
